Erler-Zimmer GmbH: Quality medical teaching aids
Erler-Zimmer GmbH & Co. KG is known for high-quality models and teaching aids of body parts, musculature and similar subjects. These are used everywhere for continuing education and training, as well as for the education of medical personnel.
The history of the family business begins in 1950 in Lauf, Baden-Württemberg, when Johannes Erler founded the company. A short time later, his son-in-law Walter Zimmer joined him. In 1981, Ute Probst, Walter Zimmer’s daughter, joined the company; her family continues to run Erler-Zimmer GmbH to this day. After her sons Mathias and Patrick became partners in 2015, they took over day-to-day operations in 2021.

Human and animal models for the curious
Erler-Zimmer models are the brand’s flagship products and represent handmade quality and innovation. In our online shop you will find models for human medicine of eyes, skulls, and female as well as male pelvises to assemble. This makes it possible to understand individual components. Various animal skull and body models are also available.
For training purposes, Erler-Zimmer produces simulation models that can be used, for example, to simulate a slipped disc in order to practise the correct treatment. Up-to-date, you will also find Covid-Test Trainer or vaccination trainers and injection pads that can be strapped on, to practise the correct insertion of needles and swabs. With the help of wound moulages, the proper dressing and disinfection of various wounds can be practised, so you can rely on your skills in an emergency.
