The 6 adjustable lancing depths allow an optimal setting – just deep enough to obtain sufficient blood, but no deeper, to cause as little pain as possible.

Settings:

1–2 for thin, soft skin (children)

3–4 for normal, average skin

5–6 for thicker skin
