BURNFREE Gel is suitable for the treatment of minor first-degree burns, including sunburn. Early application of a thick layer of gel allows cooling and soothing of the wound to begin immediately.

BURNFREE wound dressings have been developed for effective first aid treatment of burns of any type and severity. They use a soft, open-cell foam as a carrier system, saturated with BURNFREE GEL. The wound dressings:

are sterile; sterile products are preferred by doctors and professional rescue teams as they can reduce the risk of contamination and infection
are lightweight and easy to carry, and flexible enough to adapt to all body contours
contain a sufficient amount of viscous gel, which can be delivered to and retained at the burn site with maximum effectiveness by means of highly absorbent foam
can be prepared easily without the use of cutting tools for a specific situation or adjusted on site (e.g. for facial injuries, intubation, ...)
are non-adherent and release neither fibres nor particles that could then become embedded and grow into the wound
