The AmbuMan Instrument enables optimal training of chest compressions in combination with realistic ventilation.
Features
The training devices are equipped with the following functions:
Display instrument
The display instrument shows the instructor the volume of air delivered (in l) and the chest compression depth (in mm). It also indicates compressions with an incorrect hand position as well as gastric inflation by means of a clearly visible warning symbol.
Carotid pulse
The carotid pulse can be felt during chest compressions and can be simulated using a manual pulse bulb.
Realistic ventilation
The airways open only with correct head tilt, allow a clearly visible movement of the chest, and make exhalation audible and tangible for the trainee. With incorrect ventilation, air passes via a valve into the stomach bag and leads to clearly visible gastric inflation. Mouth-to-mouth ventilation, mouth-to-nose ventilation, ventilation using an Ambu LifeKey/Res-Cue mask, and ventilation using a resuscitator bag can be practised.
Ambu hygiene system
The patented and closed hygiene system prevents cross-infections, provides realistic airway resistance, and enables exhalation through the mouth and nose.
Anatomically correct torso
The realistic anatomy enables the correct location of the compression point. Chest stiffness is adjustable, allowing anatomies from adolescent to senior to be simulated. In addition, the use of a training AED and the placement of defibrillation electrodes can be trained optimally.
Expandable modular system
The basic model of the training device consists of a torso. Arms and legs as well as the Ambu i.v. arm can be purchased separately.
