“Press and inhale at the same time” – that could be the shortened instructions for using a medication spray. However, it is not quite that simple for many patients, especially children and older adults. They often have difficulties coordinating actuation of the spray and inhaling at the same time. This is often associated with increased deposition of medication in the mouth and throat.

The antistatic VORTEX® inhalation aid helps to overcome these disadvantages of metered-dose inhalers. After actuating a puff, the patient has time to inhale the medication from the VORTEX®. This makes coordinating “press and inhale” much easier and makes the therapy safer thanks to reliable dosing.

Thanks to the unique cyclone vortex principle, the medication cloud is set into a swirl as the patient inhales. In particular, the fine droplets are directed to the lungs, and the mouth and throat can largely remain free of unwanted medication deposits.


The VORTEX® is dishwasher-safe, can be boiled, and for use in clinics it can also be disinfected and sterilised.
