Easy assembly of your own skin analysis device

The basic system consists of:

Measurement of skin moisture
Measurement of oil content on skin and hair

Other probes can be connected optionally: measurement of the viscoelastic properties of the skin (biological skin age) by suction using negative pressure from the device (the skin’s ability to resist suction vs. its ability to return to its initial state after the negative pressure is removed, in %). As the elasticity measurement requires a vacuum pump in the device, it cannot be added to the system at a later date and must be included in the base unit.

Also: measurement of pigmentation (melanin) and redness (erythema), skin temperature measurement, TEWL index (quality of the skin barrier function), pH measurement and measurement of hair colour
