Super OB Susie
The Super OB Susie birth simulator was developed to help instructors teach learners at all levels the skills required for managing pregnancy and childbirth. The anatomically correct pelvis and full-term foetus allow learners to develop clinical skills and apply them in scenario-based practice. The modular design allows functionality to be expanded as training requirements increase.
Features:
Lower torso:
- Adult lower torso from diaphragm to quadriceps.
- Soft skin with seamless joints for greater realism.
- Anatomically correct pelvic landmarks including ischial spines and coccyx.
- Removable abdominal wall.
- Mobile hip joints support practising the McRoberts manoeuvre.
- Removable cervix and birth canal.
- Lifelike placenta with removable cotyledons.
- Practise bladder catheterisation with patented urethra.
- 400 ml urine reservoir.
