Wound foot with diabetic foot syndrome

This moulage shows an abrasion. With a little artificial blood, contamination such as sand or small stones can be added. The moulage adheres independently to simulation patients or mannequins, but for a longer exercise it can also be fixed with special skin adhesive.

This moulage shows the sacral area with a pressure ulcer in a surgically debrided condition. The necrotic tissue has been removed and wound pockets are present. The wound can be supplied either freshly cleaned or with wound exudate. Perfect for explaining and practising negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). The anal cleft helps to demonstrate typical challenges when applying dressings. The moulage adheres independently to simulation patients or mannequins, but for longer training sessions it can also be secured with special skin adhesive.

This moulage shows the sacral area with a pressure ulcer in an untreated condition. The tissue has died due to prolonged pressure, and necrotic tissue is visible. The actual extent of the necrosis cannot be determined and requires surgical treatment. The moulage adheres independently to simulation patients or mannequins, but for longer training sessions it can also be attached with special skin adhesive. The anal cleft is present to demonstrate the difficulties encountered when applying dressings.
