This life-size torso with open back consists of 28 parts and offers an exceptionally realistic representation of anatomical structures down to the finest details.
All body systems are shown with full accessibility. On the left side, all major superficial and deep muscles with vessels and bones can be seen. The open back shows the muscle layers as well as the spine and the associated nerve branches. A thoracic vertebra, including a section of the spinal cord, is removable to examine its anatomical details closely. The head is opened and one half of the brain is fully exposed. The neck is opened to reveal muscular, nervous, vascular and glandular structures. Significant features are numbered and indicated on the enclosed key card. The detachable male and female urogenital systems are interchangeable.
