Multibreath FRC N2 washout measurement based on the principle of 100% oxygen inhalation (wash-in).
The oxygen is supplied via a standard hospital oxygen connection.
Using the FRC washout method, FRC is determined by a gas wash-in method while the Lung Clearance Index (LCI) is determined at the same time.
