Perineal Repair Simulator
This simulator enables training in suturing a first-degree perineal tear. The skin is soft and very flexible, yet stable and durable. With this simulator, suturing can be practised repeatedly using interrupted sutures or Donati sutures. The simulator consists of a skin pad and a holder; an optional genital insert is available, allowing the simulator to be fitted into the lower torso of the optional birth model.

Using the amniotic sac membrane, the foetus model can be shown in the amniotic fluid sac. The vein and arteries are clearly visible on the umbilical cord, and the amniotic sac can be easily closed using a drawstring. Both the amnion and chorion are shown in detail in two colours.

Popliteal fossa
This 3D-printed specimen shows the distal thigh and the proximal lower leg, which were subsequently dissected to illustrate the contents of the popliteal fossa and the surrounding region. The proximal cross-section shows the musculature of the anterior, posterior and medial compartments, with the femoral artery and femoral vein visible in the adductor canal. The sciatic nerve and the great saphenous vein are also visible.

The bleeding device consists of a pump module with three ports, which can be controlled wirelessly via the supplied mobile phone (used only as a control unit). The three ports can optionally simulate arterial and venous bleeding, and the amount of bleeding is adjustable. The pump is equipped with sensors that stop the pump when the line is occluded (e.g. during wound packing) to prevent damage. The pump module has an integrated battery which, depending on usage, allows between 2 and 20 hours of training. The rechargeable battery can be replaced by a layperson and is a standardised battery; a charger is included. The pump module is integrated into a backpack with a hydration bladder for blood supply, but can also be removed and used externally.
