Using the amniotic sac membrane, the foetus model can be shown in the amniotic fluid sac. The vein and arteries are clearly visible on the umbilical cord, and the amniotic sac can be easily closed using a drawstring. Both the amnion and chorion are shown in detail in two colours.

Popliteal fossa
This 3D-printed specimen shows the distal thigh and the proximal lower leg, which were subsequently dissected to illustrate the contents of the popliteal fossa and the surrounding region. The proximal cross-section shows the musculature of the anterior, posterior and medial compartments, with the femoral artery and femoral vein visible in the adductor canal. The sciatic nerve and the great saphenous vein are also visible.

Babies with increased care needs require special nursing skills, including life-saving care procedures. This newborn model enables medical institutions and nursing staff to teach and learn these procedures and to create specific care plans. This nursing baby was developed for a wide range of training applications, including the training of nursing students. Applicable procedures include tracheostomy care, suction catheter use, feeding tube, and urinary catheter. Other general care measures include bathing, nappy changing and various bandaging techniques. Carry bag included. Tracheostomy tube and feeding tube are not included.

Suction Techniques Training Model
This realistic, life-size model allows practice of nasal and oral suction techniques. The model features a tracheal opening through which a cannula can be inserted or intrabronchial suction can be performed. The left half of the face can be removed so that the correct position can be checked after practice. Supplied with artificial mucus for suctioning. In addition, the model has an oesophagus, allowing practice of inserting a gastric tube. The model is also suitable for teaching anatomy. Supplied with a carry bag.

Training Model White Skin Cancer – enlarged
Continuous exposure to sunlight can damage skin cells. If the damaged cells do not die or repair themselves, they degenerate and visible skin cancer develops.
The skin cancer training model was developed to help healthcare educators explain the different types of skin cancer and their appearance.
The enlarged training model shows a typical basal cell carcinoma, a squamous cell carcinoma (spinalioma) and a malignant melanoma. Various variants of the appearance of skin cancer are shown.
The skin cancer training model includes the training model, a sturdy base, a double-sided teaching card (English), a stand and a storage box.

This fantastic model allows you to practise examination using the 4 Leopold’s manoeuvres, external pelvimetry, auscultation of the fetal heart sounds and breast care. The abdominal wall is made of a special plastic that provides a completely natural tactile feel and depicts the skin and the underlying tissue layer even more realistically. By adding or removing air, the simulated amount of amniotic fluid can be adjusted to the desired condition. Any change in the position of the fetus is possible. The simulated heart sounds can be varied in intensity and rate. Interchangeable inserts make it possible to simulate either a small or a large birth canal.

Pregnancy Simulator
This simulator can be strapped on and gives the user an impression of the difficulties a pregnant woman faces in everyday life. The additional weight (7.2 kg) and the shape make even the simplest tasks, such as bending down, much more difficult. Suitable for individual training using the standard hygienic airways; for group training, an additional filter attachment can be fitted for each trainee to prevent infections. The torso features an integrated feedback indicator for compression depth and compression rate. Correct compression depth is confirmed with a clicking sound; the compression rate is indicated by a multicolour light display. At a compression rate of below 60 compressions per minute, a red indicator light illuminates; above this, the colour changes to orange. From 80 compressions onwards, a green indicator illuminates; once 100 compressions per minute is reached, two green indicators illuminate. If the trainee slows the compressions, the colours change in reverse order. If the compression depth is insufficient, all indicators go out and a red light starts flashing. Infant CPR manikin with indicator function
This life-size infant model is designed for learning correct CPR. Ventilation and chest compressions can be performed as on a real baby. With correct ventilation, the chest rises and falls. The correct compression depth is confirmed by a clicking sound, and the compression rate by an indicator light integrated in the model. The airways are single-use lung bags, so no disinfection is required. For group training, a face shield with filter can also be fitted to ensure protection against infection. Supplied with torso, carry bag and 10 hygienic airways.

Sense organs
This unique model was specially developed to understand the five senses – sight, smell, taste, hearing and balance – together with the associated nerves.
The model consists of a life-size section of the skull with a removable eye and a dissected tongue.
Parts of the skull are opened to ensure that every important nerve is visible. The cranial nerve is flexible to allow exposure of the underlying petrosal nerve.
The bony structures are labelled; the model is supplied complete with nomenclature and an 18-minute audio CD (both in English).

The pad is manufactured using our RealLayer technology to accurately simulate the feel of the body wall, and contains a foam core that allows you to easily express the injected fluids. The simulated tissue with three injection depths is designed to guide you directly into the muscle, so you can practise intramuscular injections.

Simulation training pad for an implantable port
This simulator consists of a soft layer representing the skin and a rigid plate that protects the user from a possible needle stick caused by incorrect practice. The implanted port and a blood bag are not included in the scope of delivery, but can be ordered separately if required.

The model is secured around a person’s neck and chest with adjustable straps. It allows practice of all procedures on an implantable port. The fact that the model is worn by a person significantly increases the realism of the training, as it allows communication with the “patient” and enables the patient’s movements and breathing to be felt.

This model is suitable for practising the use of suction catheters in the nose, mouth and throat, as well as for care of the tracheostomy opening. In addition, the model can be used to practise the insertion of a nasogastric tube and the care of a gastrostomy opening (PEG), as used in daily care.
