This station is made from sturdy plastic. Operating instructions are printed on it. The bottle is filled with distilled water. The eye cup has a snap-on lid, allowing the water to be gently flushed into the eye at any time by pressing.

The used water does not flow back into the bottle, but drains off via a side hose. The eye spray is set particularly gently by means of several nozzles.

Hypothermia is dangerous. It often occurs in near-drowning victims and in trauma patients outdoors. Protecting the head and chest is particularly important. With an unprotected head alone, around half of the body’s heat loss can occur. In multi-trauma patients, the chance of survival is reduced by up to 50% if the temperature drops below 34°C. If the body temperature falls below 32°C, it becomes life-threatening.
