The Troponin I test by MEDDAX is used for the rapid, qualitative detection of human cardiac troponin I in whole blood, serum or plasma. Evaluation is possible after just 10 minutes. It is ideally suited for the diagnosis of myocardial infarction.
After damage to the heart muscle, troponin I is released into the blood after 4–6 hours. The troponin I level remains elevated for 6–10 days. The test’s detection limit is 0.5 ng/ml. The test is manufactured directly in Germany and is subject to continuous testing by renowned testing laboratories. This ensures consistently top quality.
