SHELF LIFE OF THE FRX ELECTRODES
Due to the conductive gel layer, electrodes have an expiry date. After this date, the electrodes must no longer be used, as the gel layer can dry out and conductivity is reduced as a result. The Heartstart FRx electrodes have a shelf life of approx. 2 years. The expiry date is stated on the electrode packaging.

USE IN CHILDREN:
For children younger than 8 years and weighing less than 25 kg, special paediatric electrodes are normally used. For the Heartstart FRx, a paediatric key has been developed; this is inserted into the defibrillator during paediatric resuscitation to activate paediatric mode, allowing the normal Smart Pads II electrodes to also be used for children. The shock level is reduced automatically.

FUNCTIONS

The hydraulic hand dynamometer from SAEHAN has several special functions that are suitable both for standard screening work and for diagnosing hand trauma and hand disorders.

Dual measuring scale:
Shows grip strength in kilograms and pounds. Maximum measurement value is 90 kilograms or 200 pounds.

Peak-hold indicator needle:
Practical and easy to read, this peak-hold needle automatically retains the maximum measured value. The needle remains at the value until it is reset.

Accurate and reproducible:
This SAEHAN hand dynamometer allows isometric strength measurement—almost without any perceptible movement of the handles—regardless of the respective grip force. This ensures accurate and reproducible measurement results.

Adjustable handle:
To accommodate different hand sizes, the handle can be adjusted to 5 different grip positions, from a 3.5 cm to 8.6 cm grip span, in 1.3 cm increments.
As grip strength can vary within a single patient, this function allows the therapist to determine grip strength accurately even when measuring at different grip spans.

The safety lancet ensures safe and gentle capillary blood sampling. The safety lancet is pre-loaded and allows easy handling. The risk of needlestick injuries and cross-contamination is reduced, as the needle or blade is housed inside the casing before and after use. The sterile system is for single use only and can then be safely disposed of.

Thanks to the protective barrier film and additional conditioning agents, Dip es barriere is also ideally suited for challenging situations where extra protection is required, e.g. at calving or at dry-off. No withdrawal period for milk delivery.

Application:
Before milking, pre-clean the teats and udder with a damp cloth; for this we recommend our product Euwash. After milking, dip the teats to a depth of 3 cm using a dip cup (1 x dipping, approx. 0.5 g/teat) into Dip es barriere. Clean the dip cup.
