For immediate rinsing in the event of splashes and accidents in the laboratory. The eye wash bottle is filled with clean water, preferably distilled. By pressing on the reservoir, the water is fed into the eye cup, with a fine jet rinsing the eye.

The used water drains off to the side via a drain hose. Always within reach wherever eye injuries may occur.
