Which resistance should I choose?
The choice of resistance should be matched to the exercise and your own abilities; also, not every muscle in the body is equally strong. That’s why: for optimum training results, bands in different strengths are necessary.
The aim is not to “tear” the band, but to train in a controlled way: yield to the resistance in good time and build it up again, while being mindful of the Rubber-O’s colour/resistance selection.

Our recommendation: definitely have several resistance levels ready to go—this allows functional and intelligent training. This way, even the strongest can work with the lightest resistance...

The Rubber-O-Strongs provide progressive resistance throughout the entire range of motion, so your muscles still receive stimulus even at the end position of the movement. Barbell and dumbbell training can be simulated in the smallest of spaces, and classic exercises such as barbell curls, behind-the-neck press, upright rowing or squats can also be optimised with the Rubber-O-Strong. Explosive training is ideal as a partner exercise: your partner holds the band and you work dynamically against it.

You can also use the Superband as pull-up assistance. Example pull-ups: as a beginner, you are often not able to get past the sticking point in pull-ups. This changes when using the Strongband. To do this, first simply attach the band to a secure bar. Then place your knee in the loop hanging down (bent leg for less assistance) or your foot (straight leg for more assistance). The pull-up session can begin, because the band now takes over a larger or smaller part of the work during the movement, depending on the resistance.

Finally, effective pull-up training is possible for everyone.

For pull-up assistance, it is important to choose the right resistance. For example, if you weigh 50 kg, it makes no sense to use a Rubber-O-Strong with MEDIUM strength (= 54 kg). This band would carry your entire body weight. The calculation is:
Body weight (50 kg) - resistance (54 kg) = resistance to overcome (= -4 kg)
The negative value shows that the band would hold you completely and you would no longer have to do any work.

With LIGHT strength (= 24 kg), on the other hand, you would have to overcome 26 kg yourself. So this would be a resistance that could be suitable for you.
