Kontamed can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way; incineration leaves no residue. The Kontamed safety container is equipped with a removal slot for cannulas/syringes, an insertion slot for sharp objects, e.g. scalpels, and a large waste opening with spring flap for dressings, disposable medical gloves, etc. Before disposal, the container is sealed with the safety cover and simply pulled off the wall bracket.
