Sense organs
This unique model was specially developed to understand the five senses – sight, smell, taste, hearing and balance – together with the associated nerves.
The model consists of a life-size section of the skull with a removable eye and a dissected tongue.
Parts of the skull are opened to ensure that every important nerve is visible. The cranial nerve is flexible to allow exposure of the underlying petrosal nerve.
The bony structures are labelled; the model is supplied complete with nomenclature and an 18-minute audio CD (both in English).

Natural cast of a human shoulder joint. Shoulder girdle (scapula and clavicle) with upper arm stump. The most important ligaments, such as the coracoacromial ligament, coracohumeral ligament and transverse scapular ligament, are shown, as are sections of the joint capsule. Simulated tissue with three injection depths
When it comes to practising injections, SurgiReal Injection Pads offer everything you could wish for. The pad is manufactured using our RealLayer technology to accurately simulate the feel of the body wall, and contains a foam core that allows you to easily express the injected fluids. The simulated tissue with three injection depths is designed to guide you directly into the muscle, so you can practise intramuscular injections.

This simulation model enables training in canine castration.

Simulation training pad for an implantable port
This simulator consists of a soft layer representing the skin and a rigid plate that protects the user from a possible needle stick caused by incorrect practice. The implanted port and a blood bag are not included in the scope of delivery, but can be ordered separately if required.

The model is secured around a person’s neck and chest with adjustable straps. It allows practice of all procedures on an implantable port. The fact that the model is worn by a person significantly increases the realism of the training, as it allows communication with the “patient” and enables the patient’s movements and breathing to be felt.

This model is suitable for practising the use of suction catheters in the nose, mouth and throat, as well as for care of the tracheostomy opening. In addition, the model can be used to practise the insertion of a nasogastric tube and the care of a gastrostomy opening (PEG), as used in daily care.

- Insertion of a feeding tube down into the stomach.
- The feeding tube components include an internal reservoir, allowing practice with real fluid.
- Correct positioning of the feeding tube can be checked by aspirating fluid and by auscultating air bubbles.
- The fluid reservoir has a drainage function.
- For easier care, the model can be disassembled.
- All fluid reservoirs can be rinsed.

For an additional charge, you can also have the feet mounted elastically on the skeleton, making it possible to demonstrate the rolling motion of the foot extremely well.

Skin Block Model - EZ Augmented Anatomy
This model of human skin, approximately 50x magnified, shows the various skin layers and anatomical structures in three dimensions. In addition to nerves and blood vessels, the model depicts sweat glands, sebaceous glands, hair follicles, arrector pili muscles, Vater-Pacini lamellar corpuscles and much more.

Skin Suture Trainer
This practice model allows surgical suturing to be practised again and again. The needle passage behaviour of the artificial skin closely replicates the real thing. Various skin suture techniques (simple interrupted sutures, backstitch sutures and intradermal sutures) can be practised on this model. The material is highly durable; even with frequent use, the wound edges of the artificial skin remain largely intact. This ensures a long service life of the training pad and keeps the cost per student low while maintaining the highest possible training quality. Includes holder with suction cups. Developed in collaboration with PD Dr. med. Sarah König, Learning Studio of Surgery, Department of General and Visceral Surgery, University Medical Centre Göttingen.
