“Every item has its own loop” was the idea behind developing this PAX equipment backpack for high-angle rescue. Equipment quickly adds up to quite a bit of weight. Thanks to the loops on the back panel, you can still carry the backpack comfortably. The removable divider allows you to store webbing slings, rope protectors and similar items. The carry handle is built so robustly that you can safely attach or abseil the backpack from it. As a nice extra, we have integrated a “changing mat” for organising your equipment as well as for changing on site and putting on your harness. This keeps everything clean at all times. Personal items can be stored in the inner pocket of the equipment backpack.

CARE THAT SITS WELL ON YOUR SHOULDERS
We developed this subtly sporty PAX care backpack for the requirements of mobile care services. You can store your supplies neatly in the two main compartments, which can be variably divided and feature clear-view pockets and slip pockets. If needed, simply remove the divider in the rear compartment and use it as one large compartment. The front compartment offers space for personal items and writing utensils. You can label this piece on the front hook-and-loop panel.

PAX CARE BACKPACK IN THE PROVEN DAYPACK FORMAT
The PAX Daypack has proven itself in everyday use for years. That’s what we built on when designing our care backpack. It looks good and is comfortable to carry. On the way to and from the car as well as on the bike. Even when summer is at its hottest, you benefit from a high level of carrying comfort. The daypack carrying system used here ensures ventilation of your back.

BUILT TO LAST THANKS TO PAX-DURA
Very robust and, at 1.4 kg, still quite light, our care backpack can take a lot. It is made from PAX-Dura and is therefore particularly tear- and abrasion-resistant. As always, you can also rely on comfortable PAX details. These include two-way zips with extensions and reflective strips.

ON A DIRECT ROUTE TO OXYGEN
With this compact bag, you have direct access to the 2-litre oxygen cylinder or D-size cylinder. In the lid you will find an additional compartment for a resuscitator bag or a suction pump. The clever feature: the double zip has two pullers that look different. They open the cylinder compartment or the lid compartment in opposite directions. That way you immediately open the right one every time.

We have fitted the cylinder compartment with our ergonomic carry handle. You may know it, for example, from the Water Rescue series. You open the accessory compartment unmistakably via a webbing loop. The Oxy-Compact L sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the split carry handles. Also included are the backpack straps and the shoulder strap.

THE OXYGEN COMPARTMENT: PLENTY OF SPACE FOR INDIVIDUAL CONFIGURATION
You secure the 2-litre or D-size oxygen cylinder with two adjustable straps. We have also added extra loops on the base of the bag so you can secure the valve or the cylinder.

RUBBER LOOPS AND SLIP POCKETS
The inside of the compartment lid is fitted with a firmly sewn row of rubber loops. The hook-and-loop attached slip-in pocket with clear cover also gives you storage space. The same applies to the sides. On one side there are two rows of rubber loops, suitable for example for Güdel airways or spiral tubes. Behind them there is a narrow slip pocket. On the opposite side, two large slip pockets can hold nasal cannulas or similar items.

THE ACCESSORY COMPARTMENT: SOMETIMES FULLY CLOSED, SOMETIMES REMOVED
The accessory compartment gives you additional flexibility. You can close it completely and store the suction pump, resuscitator bag and masks inside. If you don’t want to use the compartment at the moment, simply remove it from the bag using the hook-and-loop fastening. Then you have direct access to the oxygen compartment. Included in the scope of delivery are two inner pockets (red and blue). They can be used in the accessory compartment or the oxygen compartment.

AMAZINGLY SPACIOUS FRONT POCKET
The large front pocket provides extra space. It can be opened on three sides with the double zip and folded fully open. On the side wall it is equipped with a firmly sewn row of rubber loops as well as two hook tape strips. You can attach our clear inner pockets or our XL modules to these. If you don’t need the strips at the moment, cover them to protect them from dirt: the matching loop tape strips are included in the scope of delivery. The front pocket is completed by two further rows of rubber loops in the lid.

PAX-STYLE DOWN TO THE LAST DETAIL
And everything else? The Oxy-Compact L naturally impresses with the classic PAX advantages. These include reflective strips, the robust, smooth-running zips and our proven PAX-Plan material from which the bag is made. It is therefore very easy to clean and disinfect.

ONE-HANDED FOR RAPID OXYGEN DELIVERY
This compact PAX Oxy Compact M oxygen bag impresses with a double-zip fastening for quick access. You open it one-handed using the typical PAX handle (which in this case is not intended for carrying). In addition to the oxygen cylinder with pressure reducer and demand valve, the bag also accommodates suitable accessories such as a resuscitation bag with masks and a manual suction unit. The foot-operated suction unit is stored in a separate compartment.

RESUSCITATION BAGS CAN BE PRE-CONNECTED
You can connect the resuscitation bags with masks to the demand valve in advance. They are kept ready to hand in elastic loops on the opening side of the bag. For rapid access, the bag can be fully unfolded along one narrow side. In the front section of the bag, the slip-in pockets on both sides help you keep everything organised.

SEPARATE COMPARTMENT FOR THE FOOT-OPERATED SUCTION PUMP
You can also open the separate compartment for the foot-operated suction pump with accessories one-handed. When you change the oxygen cylinder, simply remove this compartment. Then secure the cylinder in the rear section with two hook-and-loop straps. At the front, a side-release buckle prevents it from falling out.

IT STAYS UPRIGHT THANKS TO THE BASE PLATE
In typical, proven PAX style, the base plate is stored in the intermediate compartment in the bottom. You can therefore remove it, e.g. if you want to put your Oxy Compact M through a cycle in the washing machine. When inserted, the base plate keeps the bag upright, whether you hold it by the carry handles, sling it over your shoulder with the supplied shoulder strap, or attach it to a stretcher handle.

OPTIONAL CARRYING HOOKS AVAILABLE
We have equipped the Oxy Compact M with attachment points on the back and underside. Optional metal brackets can be mounted here. Using these carrying hooks, you can simply hang the bag, for example on roll-in stretchers. When you don’t need the hooks, they can be stowed away on the front in flat slip-in pockets.

In air rescue or in the mountains, this thermal and transport bag is frequently used. The harnessing in accordance with DIN/EN 1865, the optionally available Velcro-in fleece blanket with an antibacterial, waterproof yet breathable cover or a Velcro-in active heated blanket, as well as the various equipment holders and access openings on the outside and the removable carrying handles make this cover versatile in use. The top sections can be removed, washed and individually labelled.

The PAX Lock System is a universal belt attachment for all PAX Pro Series holsters. The PAX Lock System is supplied separately from the holster and can be attached to the holster and to a belt or duty belt in just a few steps.

First, the stabilising plate must be inserted into the back of the holster; if necessary, the plate may need to be slightly adjusted with a simple pair of scissors. The holes for the fixing screw in the stabilising plate and the holster must be aligned. Then the fixing screw is firmly tightened with the PAX Lock mount facing outwards. Safety tip: Secure the screw in the thread with a drop of superglue. The belt mount (supplied complete as an assembled unit) now only needs to be attached to the belt or duty belt. The belt should be gripped as firmly as possible. Tip: The opening tab can also be fitted facing downwards. This makes accidental opening virtually impossible.

Mounting points for the PAX Lock System can be found on our Pro Series holsters and on the BTM 5 and BTM 9 ampoule cases.
