SONY A6 Thermal printer UP-X898MD

The UP-X898MD is a compact A6 black-and-white printer for medical applications that processes both analogue video signals and PC-friendly digital USB input signals. It is designed for integration with a wide range of compatible medical imaging systems, for example mobile C-arm, cardiac catheter laboratory and digital ultrasound systems. The high-quality thermal print mechanism can produce hard copies of still images from such systems for use in patient records and referrals. For even greater convenience, printed photos can also be saved to a connected USB flash drive.

The UP-X898MD is the successor to Sony’s popular UP-897 series of medical printers. The newly designed and updated version now offers numerous operational enhancements and improved ergonomics while retaining the compact design and easy integration into medical trolleys. Ease of use has been further improved with an enlarged LCD display and a joystick for intuitive menu navigation. The device is capable of producing high-quality black-and-white prints in under 2 seconds.
