Mould and spores can place a considerable strain on horses’ sensitive airways and, in sensitive animals, on the entire body. We are surrounded every day by a natural level of spores in the air. Only when these spores meet a suitable breeding ground can an overgrowth of mould develop, which may be harmful to health. Hay that has not been properly dried or stored can be such a breeding ground. The mould is not always visible to the naked eye. The already hazardous filaments permeate the hay before the fungus as such can be recognised.

EquiGreen Heu Protect addresses exactly this and is extremely easy and straightforward to use. The essential oils evaporate into the hay and can significantly inhibit the spread of mould.
