Pressure injector for needle-free injection
How it works: A lever tensions a plunger which, when released, injects a liquid volume of 0.1 ml ± 5% under pressure (100 bar) through a micro-fine opening, without a needle, under the skin. A large “wheal” forms there. All Dermo-Jets hold 4 ml of medicinal solution! This allows up to 40 injections to be administered. The device can be dismantled and is autoclavable or can be sterilised by boiling. Anaesthetics must be removed from the Dermojet after 2 days at the latest to avoid undesirable deposits. Dermojet HR: For the new Type B sterilisers, with Pyrex reservoir and stainless-steel ring.
Dermojet Polymedica: Here, the spacer cap is made of glass.
