You can also use the Superband as pull-up assistance. Example pull-ups: as a beginner you are often unable to get past the sticking point in pull-ups. This changes when using the Strongband. To do this, first simply attach the band to a secure bar. Then place your knee (bent leg for less assistance) or your foot (straight leg for more assistance) into the loop hanging down. Your pull-up session can begin, because the band will now take over a larger or smaller part of the work during the movement, depending on the resistance level.
Effective pull-up training is finally possible for everyone.
For assistance, it is important to choose the right resistance level. For example, if you weigh 50 kg, it makes no sense to use a Rubber-O-Strong with strength MEDIUM (=54 kg). This band would carry your entire body weight. The calculation is:
Body weight (50 kg) - resistance level (54 kg) = resistance to overcome (= -4 kg)
The negative value shows you that the band would support you completely and you would no longer have to do any work.
With strength LIGHT (=24 kg), on the other hand, you would still have to overcome 26 kg yourself. So that would be a resistance level that could work for you.
