The Nevada Mid is a lightweight and particularly comfortable work shoe that meets all the requirements of an S3 boot: It protects you perfectly against wet conditions, heat and cold, has a stable, slip-resistant sole and a wide protective toe cap. The ankle-high shoe is ideal for work in a workshop or factory as well as for emergency responders on duty. Thanks to the three-part hook-and-loop fastening, you can put it on and take it off especially quickly.

Upper material

- The safety shoes are made from high-quality, particularly hard-wearing bull leather.
- The two-millimetre-thick leather has been hydrophobised, i.e. impregnated to be water-repellent, and is breathable. Sweat can escape through the shoe.
- Colour pigments in the leather reflect sunlight and prevent the black shoes from heating up in summer. Your feet stay pleasantly cool.
- A rubber toe cap protects the leather in the toe area against wear.
- The so-called hook-and-loop lock prevents you from accidentally unthreading the top hook-and-loop strap.
- In the heel area, a reflective piping/trim tape is attached. This makes you clearly visible, for example during night-time emergency operations.

Lining, insoles, toe cap

- The inside of your HAIX work shoes is lined with an abrasion-resistant, breathable lining. This wicks sweat to the outside so that your feet stay comfortably dry.
- The non-woven insole, which connects the outsole and upper, also absorbs moisture inside the shoe.
- The anatomically shaped insoles further increase the wearing comfort of your shoes. Your steps are cushioned and your joints are relieved.
- The insoles dry particularly quickly. You can also replace and wash them.
- The protective toe cap is extra wide and well padded so that you do not feel it.
- A lightweight, puncture-resistant sole insert ensures that you do not injure yourself on sharp objects such as nails or shards of glass.

Sole

- The work shoe has a robust, abrasion-resistant rubber/PU outsole with excellent roll-off comfort.
- The deep tread is very well suited for road and off-road use. You will have secure grip on any surface.
- The large, bevelled contact area guarantees sure footing – even on uneven terrain.
- The sole provides excellent insulation against heat and cold. You will feel comfortable in the shoes in any weather.
- In addition, the outsole is resistant to oil, petrol and heat up to 300°C.
