MELAG Hot air sterilizer 205 with holder for 3 cassettes or 3 trays

The Steriliser 205 features highly effective mechanical air circulation. This means that a fan ensures perfect heat distribution inside the chamber while simultaneously preventing overheating. In practice, the mechanical air circulation significantly reduces the operating time, so important instruments are available again more quickly. While the operating time of a conventional hot-air steriliser of this size is approx. 90 minutes, with the Type 205 it is reduced to just 60 minutes thanks to the mechanical air circulation. Even with packaged instruments, total operating times from 75 minutes are possible. The Steriliser 205 replaces the hot-air sterilisers 211-225 that have been produced for decades. With this new design, the aim was achieved of reducing the external dimensions while maintaining the same load capacity (11 litres), in order to save space. The installation width is only 31 cm. The housing and the interior chamber of the Steriliser 205 are made of high-quality stainless steel. The temperature can be adjusted continuously within a range of 60°C to 220°C. The programme sequence is controlled by a thermostat and a timer switch.
