The Ambu Man I (Instrument) is completely free of electronic components. The training device features an integrated display instrument that provides feedback on CPR parameters to both the trainee and the instructor.
For all participant groups – whether medical or nursing staff in healthcare, or for training laypersons in CPR.

The Ambu Man I is equipped with the following functions:
Display instrument
The scale of the integrated display instrument shows the volume of air delivered (in l) and the chest compression depth (in mm). In the event of gastric inflation and an incorrect compression point, clearly visible warning symbols appear.
Ambu hygiene system
The patented, closed hygiene system prevents cross-infection, ensures realistic airway resistance, and allows expiration through the mouth and nose – the natural route.
Realistic ventilation
The airways open only with correct head tilt, enable clearly visible chest rise, and make exhalation audible and tangible for the trainee. If ventilation is performed incorrectly, air is directed via a valve into the stomach bag, resulting in clearly visible gastric inflation. Mouth-to-mouth ventilation, mouth-to-nose ventilation, ventilation using the Ambu LifeKey/Res-Cue mask, and ventilation using a bag-valve mask can be practised.
True-to-life anatomy
The realistic anatomy of an adult allows correct identification of the compression point. As the chest rigidity of the Ambu Man is adjustable, anatomies from adolescent to senior can be simulated.
Palpable pulse
The carotid pulse is palpable during chest compressions and can additionally be simulated using a mechanical pulse bulb.
Expandable modular system*
The base model of the Ambu Man W consists of a torso. Arms and legs as well as the Ambu I.V. arm can be purchased separately. This allows you to upgrade the system step by step.
The Ambu Man I can be easily updated to any guideline.
