The MEDDAX Tourniquet is a windlass tourniquet system for severe bleeding from the limbs. Thanks to its variable length and the windlass system with locking points at 90° per turn, it is equally suitable for use on arms and legs.
The materials used to manufacture tourniquets are nylon and polyester. Both are synthetic textile fibres characterised by a high level of abrasion resistance. They do not deform and absorb very little moisture.
