Skull model with facial musculature
On the right half of the skull of this model, the facial and masticatory muscles are shown. Thanks to the use of two different colour shades, the facial muscles can be easily and clearly distinguished from the masticatory muscles. On the left side of the skull, the areas of muscle origin and insertion are colour-coded (origin: red, insertion: blue). The jaw is movable and, thanks to the flexible musculature, chewing movements can be demonstrated to a limited extent. The skullcap and the M. masseter are removable.
