3B Scientific Male pelvis with ligaments, vessels, nerves, pelvic floor and organs, 7-part

This 7-part model of the male pelvis accurately illustrates the spatial relationships between the bones, ligaments, vessels and nerves, as well as the pelvic floor musculature and the male pelvic and external genital organs. It shows the entire pelvic floor with a median section. The right-sided portion of the external anal sphincter, the ischiocavernosus muscle, the deep and superficial transverse perineal muscles, and the bulbospongiosus muscle can be removed as a single unit. The rectum, urinary bladder, prostate and penis can also be removed and divided into two halves in the median plane—partly as a connected unit. The bony structures are connected by magnets and can therefore be easily separated. On the penis, the skin and fascia have been partially removed so that the vessels and nerves are visible. In the area of the scrotum and the spermatic cord, the skin has also been partially removed. The testis and epididymis are visible. On the left side, the spermatic cord is opened layer by layer, and on the right side the cremaster muscle and the internal spermatic fascia have been exposed. The right half of the pelvis shows sections and positional relationships of the common, external and internal iliac artery as well as the common and external iliac vein. In addition, the sacral plexus, sciatic nerve, pudendal nerve, dorsal nerve of the penis, anterior scrotal nerves, perineal nerves and inferior anal nerves, as well as the vas deferens, are shown. The model shows the following bones and ligaments: both hip bones, pubic symphysis, sacrum and coccyx, as well as the fifth lumbar vertebra with intervertebral disc. A median section has been made through the fifth lumbar vertebra as well as the sacrum and coccyx, allowing the pelvis to be separated into two halves. This also makes part of the cauda equina visible in the vertebral canal. The left half of the body of the fifth lumbar vertebra is removable. The following ligament structures of the pelvis are shown: Lig. inguinale, Lig. sacrotuberale, Lig. sacrospinale, Ligg. sacroiliaca anteriora, Lig. iliolumbale, Lig. longitudinale anterius, Lig. supraspinale, Lig. sacroiliacum interosseum, Lig. sacroiliacum posterius, Lig. sacrococcygeum laterale, Lig. sacrococcygeum posterius superficiale et profundum, Membrana obturatoria and Lig. lacunare.
