In a paediatric emergency, you do not need special electrodes for children, as the HeartSave YA switches to a paediatric mode at the touch of a button.

Using the language selection button, the voice prompts can be switched during operation between up to four languages. In areas with users of many different nationalities - industry, airports, public institutions - this increases the chance that the HeartSave YA can be clearly understood and used safely.

To be available at all times safely and reliably, the HeartSave YA performs a comprehensive self-test every day. This checks the technical condition of the AED, the remaining battery capacity, and the expiry date of the electrodes. Readiness is indicated by a clearly visible and intuitively understandable 'OK' on the device.

The HeartSave YA is a fully automated defibrillator that, if a shock is required, triggers it completely independently. This variant is particularly advantageous for uncertain or hesitant first aiders, as the shock - if necessary - is delivered safely to the casualty.
