ERLERZIMMER Wound Moulage Venous Leg Ulcer small Exudation Phase

This self-adhesive wound represents a venous leg ulcer (Ulcus Cruris Venosum), a tissue defect in the lower leg resulting from chronic venous insufficiency. The inflammatory phase shown here depicts the most common ulcer condition (60–80% of all ulcer conditions) in its untreated form. Fibrin and excess wound exudate must be removed as part of wound cleansing. This small wound is ideal for attaching to the ankle or lower leg and adheres independently. For longer-term fixation, a special skin adhesive can be used. All materials used are dermatologically safe.
