Product information "EASi Empathetic Ageing Simulator"
This simulator was developed as the result of years of research in the field of ageing simulation. The suit conveys the most common processes of ageing, enabling you to experience a change of perspective to meet your objectives. For example, if you work a lot with older people and want to better understand their view of the world. Or to be able to assess and take into account the needs of older customers more effectively.
Its range of features:
- Increased perception of gravity due to an age-related decline in muscle strength (physiologically from the age of 30)
- Altered sensory perceptions, particularly in the areas of vision, hearing, gripping and walking ability
- Progressive restrictions in movement mainly affecting the spine as well as the shoulder and hip region
The standard scope of delivery of an EASi ageing simulator consists of:
- Occlusion visor with three simulation foils (cataract, glaucoma and AMD), quick and easy to change thanks to a magnetic system
- Vest and thigh attachments with weight inserts, height and level of impairment easily adjustable
- Weighted shoes and wrist cuffs, one size fits all
- Modular rubber connections from head to torso and torso to arms, level of impairment easily adjustable
- Robust carry bag for transport and use
- Instructions for use for the simulator
- Hemiparesis module – module in preparation, available soon as an accessory
