Using the KaWe infrared ear thermometer enables measurement at the eardrum, which, via the tympanic artery (Arteria tympani), reflects the central body temperature with virtually no delay. This means that fever rises and reductions can be measured immediately. The measurement time of the KaWe Temp® 30IR itself is short and is only approx. 1 second. All KaWe thermometers comply with the standards EN 12470-3, ISO 80601-2-56 and ISO EN 10993 and are used in hospitals and healthcare facilities.
