DR.WINKLER Sono Positioning Splint with U-shell approx. 85 x 40 x 20 cm

The Sonolagerungsschiene for consistently soft and correct positioning of the infant during hip ultrasound.

For the examination, do not fully inflate the two large air chambers; this creates a comfortable hollow for the infant. The short air chamber is used to position the head and for stabilisation. The air chambers are placed in a frame cover made of firm white cotton fabric – for hygiene, a terry cloth cover with waterproof PU coating is placed on top. The cushion is soft and pleasantly warm – a good prerequisite for calming the infant and creating a relaxed atmosphere for child and examiner.

The Dr. Winkler Sonolagerungsschiene consists of the following parts, which can also be purchased individually: 2 rectangular air cushions 18/20 x 60 cm, 1 rectangular air cushion 18/20 x 40 cm, a frame cover for the Sonolagerungsschiene made of firm white cotton fabric item no. 1205, a U-shell 40 x 75 x 13 cm made of 5 mm opal acrylic glass, a high-performance air pump and one pack with 2 terry covers 75 x 50 cm.
For the air cushions we use air valves with free flow, enabling quick inflation and deflation.
The air cushions are made of a soft white film with textile embossing, easy to clean with a mild disinfectant, very hygienic.
The hand-sewn white frame cover made of 100% cotton fabric is machine-washable at 60°C.
A high-performance air pump is included with the Sonolagerungsschiene.
The terry covers have white cotton terry on top and a waterproof PU coating on the underside.
Recommended for hip ultrasound in orthopaedic and paediatric practices, easy to use, an affordable alternative to standard commercially available splints.
