The CR Plus electrode set for the AED devices Lifepak CR Plus and Lifepak CR Express from the manufacturer Stryker is suitable for use on adults. The Physio-Control Replacement Kit XL consists of one ChargePak and two electrode sets. ChargePak and electrode set are not sold separately and therefore must always be replaced together. Correct placement is indicated on the packaging as well as on the electrodes.
The non-rechargeable stick must remain in the defibrillator even after charging. Once the battery is charged, the capacity is sufficient for 30 shocks at 360 joules.
The two electrode sets for use on adults must be replaced after use or at the latest once they reach their expiry date. Due to the conductive gel layer, electrodes have a shelf life. After this date, the electrodes must no longer be used, as the gel layer can dry out and conductivity decreases. Lifepak CR Plus/Express electrodes have a shelf life of approx. 2 years. The expiry date is printed on the electrode packaging.
