This artificial skeleton is true to nature – it is known as a facsimile edition, as all parts were moulded directly from real bones, allowing an incredible level of detail and the finest nuances of bone structure to be reproduced exactly. The artificial skeleton is made from a special plastic that is unbreakable in normal use and remains dimensionally and colour stable. All bones are individually hand-finished and carefully assembled and mounted, just like a natural skeleton. All joints are fully movable by means of hinges. For individual demonstrations, arms and legs are easily detachable. The removable skull can be disassembled into three parts: lower jaw, skullcap and skull base. After removing the skullcap, the skull base can be studied from the inside. Upper and lower jaw with removable teeth. The skeleton is approx. 180 cm high (including stand) and is mounted on a mobile five-legged safety stand.
